Info for travelling to New Zealand

Important Points

Clean your bike before you come to NZ

When you arrive in NZ Quarantine Officers will check that your bike doesn't have any dirt on it. This is to prevent pland and animal diseases coming into NZ.

Food

Some items food items - such as meat, fruit, and honey - are not allowed at all. Processed packaged food (such as chocolates, powerbars) are usually no problem, but they still must be inspected!

Transfer Flights

Transfer flights from Auckland to Nelson leave from the Domestic Terminal, this is about 1km away from the International Terminal. There is a free bus but it is probably quicker to walk.
