Road Cycling

Nelson's location in Tasman Bay means you can ride on the flat by following the coast towards Motueka or along the Waimea Plains. And for hills just head inland towards the Whangamoa or Rai Saddles, and several others.

The Nelson club cycling scene is very busy with both the Star and Garter Wheelers and the Nelson Cycling Club organising club races and group training rides several times per week.
