For road riders there are many options for riding in the hills around Nelson or on the flat along the coast.

Nelson is a real a paradise for Mountain Biking. There is a great range of forestry roads, walking tracks and many purpose built tracks to choose from. Many of the best rides are through forestry areas or reserves that surround the residential areas of Nelson.

Nelson has a good range of facilities and training groups for each of the three triathlon disciplines and is a real hotspot for adventure sports.
