About us
Tim Vincent
Tim is the founder and owner of Kiwivelo. He has been an avid competitive road cyclist and mountain biker since he was introduced to mountain biking by his neighbours in 1992. Since then he has raced on five continents and has represented New Zealand both on and off road. In 2006 he won the world solo 24 hour mountain bike championships in Switzerland and he was the Nelson sportsperson of the year in 2007Since 2000 he has been based in Switzerland during the Northern Hemisphere summer and in New Zealand during the Southern Hemisphere summer. Two summers in a year is a dream come true for any bike rider and he enjoys making it come true for Kiwivelo riders.
He earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) in 2006.

Sandy Kunz
Sandy is the Swiss connection. She is a Swiss mountain biker and has been racing off road since 2002 and on the road since 2004.She is trained as a graphic designer and is responsible for the great looking Kiwivelo website. She also enjoys traveling and particularly the coastal scenery and lifestyle in Nelson.

Kiwivelo has been running since 2001. In 2004 Kiwivelo became Kiwivelo NZ Ltd, a registered NZ limited liability company.
